Manuals
The Ligmatech Electric Case Clamp, Model MPH-400-08, is a manually operated case clamp. Because of this machine's unique design, set up for different size cases is virtually eliminated. The MPH 400-08 incorporates two sets of steel pressure beams, one set horizontal and one vertical. As a result of their alternating construction these steel beams provide contact all across both sides of the case.
Vertical and horizontal pressure is applied electrically, and the pressure can be regulated with the pneumatic clutch system. The clamping operation is executed by push button, and there are two speeds. Once the push buttons are released, the pressure beams stop moving.
A non-driven roller track built into case clamps work platform enables easy movement of case in and out of the clamp and permits integration of the clamp into an assembly line.
After the operator places the pre-assembled case onto the work platform, they activate the pressure beams. The machine is equipped with a timer that can be set for a predetermined clamping cycle time, and then it also will open the machine for a given time/distance after the press cycle.
Cycling can also be processed manually with just the push buttons.
There are no pressure pads to adjust for different size workpieces, making this an excellent machine for processing a variety of case sizes one behind the other.
