Altendorf Sliding Table Saw F-45 Select – 2005

Altendorf is the #1 selling sliding table saw, with a long tradition of German engineering excellence. Altendorf sliding table saws are manufactured using the latest manufacturing technology. Highly skilled technicians deliver the highest quality machine possible.

Based on F-45 Standard platform, the F-45 Select includes a special option package designed to save you time and effort. Most notably, the F-45 Select includes a conveniently located swing away control panel, which greatly adds to operator comfort. F-45 Select also offers a motorized rip fence with digital readout in inches or millimeter save time over a standard sliding table saw by eliminating the need to walk around the sliding table to manually position the rip fence. After each cut, the operator simply enters the new dimension using the keypad. The rip fence then moves automatically into position. The movement of the fence is repeatable to an accuracy of 0.1 mm (0.001").

Altendorf F-45 Select Features

The first cut is the final cut, improving the results of subsequent machining (i.e. edgebanding, drilling, etc.). Reduces assembly time, as parts fit easier – reducing material cost.

Eliminates the need for other machinery. Cuts solid wood, plastics, and non-ferrous metals as perfectly as it cuts panels. Makes perfect mitres, as well as rip, jointing and cross cuts.

Sliding table with perfected, vertical guidance for accurate, square cuts over the full cutting length.

  •   smooth and precise movement regardless of workload weight reduces operator fatigue

  •   torsion resistant and inherently stable

  •   totally maintenance free

  •   guaranteed accuracy of 0.05 mm (0.002") per 1000 mm (3.81’) length of

    carriage
Motorized rip fence with digital readout in inches or millimeter.

Motorized tilting of saw unit and raising/lowering of saw blade is quickly and accurately achieved by keypad control.

Crosscut mitre fence with variably adjustable stops (2) from 155 mm (6.1") to 3500 mm (137.8"), with length compensation/manually adjusted.

Saw unit is electronically balanced and precisely positioned to provide vibration-free running at each of four easily changed cutting speeds.
