A real (re-saw) not just a 9' tall bandsaw.  

We had to resaw 12" veneers (slices) at .090 - exotics (purple heart, wenge, paduck, etc) 

It took us several saws and feeders before we got the right combination. 

Extrema RESAW with a 4" deep x 32" DIA steel top wheel -

20 HP Main Motor 

Laguna Ceramic guides top and bottom

Centauro Italian 10" Feeder (this is key to effective resawing) the best feeder out there. 

The Centauro has 5 different pulley(speeds), however, we added a VFD as well to better control feed speed. 

Kool Mist lubricator - we ran 50/50 Simple Green and Water
