Voorwood "L177B" Edge Foiler
Part size: Min. 2-3/4" x 2-3/4", part thickness from 1/8" to 1-1/2", max. profile face 1-3/4"; working height of 35".
Machine equipped with - 1st Station: scoring saw, 0.75 HP - 6,000 RPM motors; 2nd Station: High speed shaper with " 0° to 55° tilt mechanism, 1-1/4" spindle dia., 5 HP motor belt drives spindle at 5,000 RPM.
3rd Station: Independently adjustable counterrotating TURBOSAND Disc Sander, tilting mechanism from -5° to +45°, 1 HP - 1,500 RPM motor each; serrated strips on wheels are die-formed and dissipate heat and minimize dust build-up.
4th Station: 2" Width double foiling applicator heads, tiltable -15° to +50° from horizontal, applicator rollers with individual temperature controls; carrier film rewind system with automatic tension control on outfeed, 2" max. foil roll width.
2 HP Feed drive for variable feed speeds up to 35 FPM; part is fed via bottom feed chain with elastomeric chain, and tightly spaced upper holddown rollers.
Control panel with lighted individual power controls for each station, temperature monitor, rewind torque control, and main disconnect.
