Vitap "INSERIX" Bore, Glue & Dowel Machine
Semi-Automatic machine for boring, glueing, and dowel insertion; (23) Spindle boring head, 2.5 HP motor - 2,800 RPM spindles on 32 mm centers, fixed horizontally for end boring.
(5) dowel drivers & (5) glue injectors for standard dowels of 20 - 40 mm length and 8 - 10 mm dia. (6 mm or 12 mm are available options). Max. spacing between 1st & last dowel 704 mm (27-3/4"), height adjustment for boring & dowel insertion heads with mechanical digital readout; After the drilling cycle is complete, the head assembly traverses down to the glue & dowel injector line for the dowel injection, approx. (6) Sec. cycle time.
Vibrator hopper for feeding of dowels, right & left hand adjustable panel stops, overhead pneumatic holddowns, (1) glue tank & (1) rinse tank for glue nozzles, (2) 45° air holddown clamps, and pneumatic foot pedal operation.
