Salvador/Stiles "Supercut 500" Optimizing Cut-off Saw (2021)
Optimizing cross-cutting saw, controlled by numeric control and PC. 8" max. & 6" min. board width cap., thickness from 1/2"- 4" max., board length from 19" min. - 16.4' max., outfeed length can be as short as 7"; cuts off softwood or hardwood material, 250 M per Minute.
An exclusive dual workpiece feed system allows rapid acceleration and high speeds with maximum reliability. Extremely strong and reliable.
A high grip feed belt on the underside and cogged rollers on top which adapt perfectly to the wood, thus correctly handling unworked uneven planks. Both the cogged and idle feed rollers lift and lower only if the wood is present, preventing sliding and accidental snagging.
Infeed Deck: (6) 3/4" x 78" Chains, (6) Pneumatic Cross Transfer feed wheels
Outfeed Belt: 8-1/2" x 19', (3) kickers (ejectors) are encoder pulse controlled and sort by any combination of length, grade and width.
