Hofer "H 4000" Heated Press - 4' x 10'
Platen dimension: 3,100 mm x 1,350 mm (122" x 53"), 400 mm (15-3/4") Max. daylight opening, (6) hydraulic 85 mm dia. upstroke cylinders, 120 metric tons (264,000 Lbs) total pressure, 4 kg/cmý (57 PSI) specific pressure based on 80% of platen area.
3 HP Hydraulic pump motor, dual stage & speed w/automatic pressure re-adjustment; a rack & pinion guide system insures parallel closing of the platens.
Patented, electrically heated platens w/automatic temperature adjustment; integrated 19 kW electric heating system, 280ø F (140ø C) max. platen temperature (250 F operating temp.), 12 Min heat-up time to 194ø F.
Manual open-and-close or automatic open with adjustable cycle timer, approx. (14) Sec closing time; perimeter safety stop wire on all (4) sides of press, and safety lockout for maintenance. - Design allows loading from all (4) sides; 39-1/2" lower platen in down position.
Heavy I-beam, welded steel frame; cylinders have chromium plated steel pistons with Teflon bronze guides in cylinder.
