Kaeser "ASD 40S" Air Compressor - Rotary Screw
40 HP TEFC Motor, single-stage, oil injected rotary screw air end with the SIGMA "Profile" screw, 191 CFM at 125 PSI, direct 1:1 ratio drive with low maintenance, Heavy Duty,flexible coupling.
Sigma Control: PC-Based control system with INTEL processor and real-time operating system; monitors all critical compressor & control functions, maintains a non-volatile memory of the last (100) messages for ease of trouble-shooting and record keeping; remote start/stop, programmable timers and 2-unit sequuencing are standard features. - Sigma Control offers a choice of "Automatic Dual", "Quadro" or "Vario" control.
Idle-period timer shuts the Compressor down if air is not required for a preset period dependent on selected control mode. - 2-Stage 4-micron air intake filter with cyclone pre-separation and replaceable element.
Built-in protective devices include: Safety pressure relief valve & emergency stop button; sound-proof enclosure with lined panels, durable powder coated finish.
Compressor mounted on solid base frame with a solid steel floor & anti-vibration mounts; additional vibration isolation if air-end; motor & separator tank is standard. - Panels are removable for easy maintenance access.
