Left-to-right feed version: 1" (25 mm) Min. to 8" (220 mm) max. width cap.; 1" - 4" thickness cap.; 4' - 16' board length cap.; cutstock length can be as short as 5"; cuts softwood or hardwood.
18.4 HP - 3,600 RPM Arbor motor, 27-1/2" (500 mm) dia. saw blade; 15 HP Servo drive feed motor accelerates material up to 750 FPM.
(3) Pneumatically operated top rollers & (1) driven bottom drum roller positively feed the board to the Saw, then stop quickly for Saw to make precision cut.
(2) man marking station with belt advancing lumber onto the scanner belt.
Camera Section with 10" wide feed belt; Measuring Station with fluorescent camera where boards are measured by the double wheel measuring system while the top mounted luminescent camera detects the crayon defect marks.
10" x 407" L feed belt between Measuring Station and Saw, processes full length board up to 16'.
Saw stroke cylinder with acceleration & deceleration unit for very high cutting speed; the patented "Waste Gate" eliminates short waste & end trims at the saw blade.
430" long sort belt with drive; 10" Wide accelerating belt conveyor to (1) scrap & (4) cutstock sorting stations; kickers are encoder pulse mechanically controlled and sort by any combination of length, grade and width, can be programmed to kick singularly or to kick in "2s or 3s" for larger heavier boards.
