Semi-automatic grinding of profile knives in the cutterhead with original template; automatic re-grinding of straight knives in the cutterhead in one or several passes.
1.5 HP motor, axial constant system, tilting head assembly for back relief (radial) grinding 10° - 30°, axial (lateral) 0° - 20°, 60° axial for cutterheads.
Infinitely variable feed speed from 1,500 - 3,000 RPM, onboard diamond wheel dresser, 8-7/8" max. grinding wheel dia., hydraulic clamping grinding wheel adaptor, 13-gal. coolant tank.
Automatic advance of the grinding wheel motorized; in / out movement to the cutterhead; Motorized axial movement of the floating linear table for straight knives.; Motorized radial adjustnment of grinding spindle for random grinding wheel dimensions.
The grinding wheel uses hydraulic clamping for accurate centering of the wheel to the arbor.
