1st Head: Cross belt sanding head "Q" with Chevron inner belt, abrasive belt size 150 x 4,700 mm (6" x 185"). Electronically controlled segmented finishing platen, with 54 segments each 25 mm wide (1"). Pressure on part edges can be adjusted infinitely variable. Abrasive belt speed infinitely variable 2 - 16 m/Sec (6 - 52 FPS). Driven by 13,5 kW (18,5 HP) motor. Oscillating air jet belt blower for abrasive belt cleaning, controlled by part size.
2nd Head: Combination head "C" with steel contact roller and finishing platen, segmented, with CPS II electro-magnetically control system. Abrasive belt speed variable 2 - 28 m/Sec (6 - 59 FPS). Driven by 15 kW (20 HP) motor. Abrasive belt can be operated clockwise and anti-clockwise. Oscillating air jet belt blower for abrasive belt cleaning, controlled by part size.
Feed system: Constant pass-line. Vacuum conveyor bed assembly with 3 kW (4 HP) suction fan inside machine frame. Variable feed speed conveyor belt speeds adjustable from 2,5 - 13 m/Min (6 - 42 FPM), 1 kW (1,3 HP) feed drive. Auto belt tracking. Part thickness 3 - 160 mm (1/8"- 6-5/16"). Motorized thickness adjustment with digital readout. Rubberized hold-down rollers.
