PRODECO Model M1-SUPER WOOD SHREDDER

The M - 1 Shredder is suitable for grinding wood, pallets, high- and low-density plastic, paper, cardboard, hides and rubber. It consists of : - a weight-bearing structure consisting of an assembly of different thickness sheet metal to ensure sturdiness and eliminate noise as far as possible during operation.

All the structure parts are snapconnected to ensure alignment and maximum precision.

PLC-controlled hydraulic unit for feed box operation. 

Special steel rotor made of a single body on which the cutting tools are fitted. The tools come with 4- cutting edges made of hard metal. The tool lock is made by means of screws so that in case of breakage or wear tool change is very easy.

Counterblade of hardened shock-resistant steel. 

Power panel equipped with all safety devices and protections, provided with a PLC that controls the hydraulic unit during machine operation. In case of rotor jam the PLC reverses the rotation direction of the rotor to facilitate disengagement. After rotor rotation has been reversed, the rotor resumes the grinding direction. If a jam occurs several times in succession, the machine stops and an alarm is generated. 

Direct-drive gearbox with cast iron body provided with a reaction arm to prevent violent blows if material is put into the hopper which is not suitable for grinding. It is supported by adjustable radial bearings with two crowns of rollers that can withstand even really heavy-duty situations. It is positioned horizontally to enable the nut screw to be in an oil bath all the time, so as to ensure optimum operation.

Large loading port closed by a hatch provided with safety system to prevent sudden opening during operation.
