Profiles and sands both edges of a hard/soft wood part in one pass. Stock is transported through the machine by a bottom feed chain with a friction surface and select-able pop-up lugs to provide precision squaring and sizing.
1st Staion L & R - Shaper on each side jumps in/out to eliminate cross grain tear out; features digital readouts and MicroPoint tilt at the workstations and digital readout and automatic width adjustment, this machine is designed for fast set-up and repeatable tool change between profiles.
2nd Station L & R Shaper spindle rotate with feed direction. Angular, horizontal and vertical adjustments available on each station.
Shaping Stations: 1-1/4" (31.7 mm) dia. x 2-7/8" (73 mm) spindle, tilting 0 - 45°; 6" (152 mm) horizontal and 3" (76 mm) vertical adjustment with a max. tool diameter of 6" (152 mm). Motors are 7.5 HP at 6,000 RPM.
(3) Sanding stations per side.- 1st Rotates with feed direction and 2nd against. Horizontal and vertical adjustments available on each station.
Sanding Stations: 0.984" (25 mm) dia. spindles x 3" (76 mm) length adjustable 0 - 45° tilt, 6" (152 mm) horizontal and 3" (76 mm) vertical adjustment with 0.33 HP motors at variable 400 - 1,100 RPM.
2 HP Motor on each side for feed; 10 - 50 FPM (3 - 15 MPM); 39" (990 mm)feed height.
Balanced lift up doors cover the machining stations and provides safety, sound deadening and contemporary styling.
