Routech "Record 220" CNC Router
4' x 10' Single Table machine: stationary extruded aluminum table is machined with a square grid pattern for fixturing parts, grid pattern allows use of vacuum pods or closed cell rope gasketing material and use of spoil boards for "nested based machining".
Working field:
For routing "X" axis 125" (3,180 mm), "Y" axis 49.2" (1,250 mm), "Z" axis stroke is 11.8" (300 mm), max material thickness is 4.9" (125 mm).
Positioning Speed:
"X" & "Y" Axis 148 FPM (45 MPM), "Z" axis 82 FPM (26 MPM); closed loop AC Servo drive system with high precision "Ball Screws" in "X" & "Y" axis & "Z" axis; all axes ride on extra large precision profile linear guide ways.
Boring Unit:
3.5 HP (2.6 kW) motor - 3,000 RPM; (10) vertical spindles with (6) in "X" axis & (4) in "Y" axis; (6) horizontal spindles with (2+2) in "X" axis & (1+1) in "Y" axis.
Machining:
(1) 10 HP (7.5 kW ) Electro-spindle with ISO 30 adaptor, spindle speeds from 900 - 18,000 RPM; (1) 10-position ATC tool plate mounted to the head for "on the fly" ATC. ≈≈ NUM "1040" Controller, 116 KB RAM, 10.5" monitor with drawing functions; 1.44MB floppy drive; hand held pendant with "X", "Y" & "Z" jog feature; variable speed & axis movement from pendant; (3) axes simultaneous control, feed rate and spindle speed override.

Windows based operating environment, with hard drive, ergonomic keypad, safety stop, RS-232 for possible downloading from office PC; all in an air conditioned sealed cabinet.
