Heesemann "MFA6" Wide Belt Sander - 3-Head - 53"
1,350 mm (53"), thickness opening min./max. is 3 mm - 150 mm (0.118" - 6.0"). - Conveyor belt speed variable from 5 - 15 MPM (16 - 49 FPM); constant pass height of 880 mm (34.65").
Head Configuration: (1) 6"W Cross Sanding Belt, (2) Platen heads w/ steel contact rollere with "CSD" controlled contact platens, and (1) rotary cleaning brush.
Belt Handling: Broken belt monitor and automatic infrared belt tracking; intermittent pneumatic belt cleaning device, belt access on the left-hand side.
Conveyor Belt: High powered vacuum hold-down by 8.6 kW (11.5 HP) fan drive motor, automatic vacuum monitoring system. Variable speed by inverter from 5 - 15 MPM (16 - 49 FPM).
CSD-32 System: Heads #2 & #3 are equipped with HEESEMANN's Patented "Segmented Pad System", Computer Selective Pressure Control from 0 - 150%, precise surface & edge pressure control, edge pressure independent of surface; 2 mm thickness compensation - zero maintenance with sealed enclosure.
Cleaning Brush: Outfeed Rotary Panel Cleaning bristle brush, 120 mm (4-3/4) dia., 0.9 kW (1.2 HP) motor, and holddown roller.
LCD Operating Panel with: Touch-screen and graphical display, (20) memory addresses for sanding head selection, thickness opening, conveyor feed speed, 1-button sequenced starting of sanding motors, and tracking of sanding belt usage.
Includes:Outfeed conveyor table, Large batch of sanding belts.
