Castle "TSM21" Pocket Drill Machine
Single hole routing system for use with material from 1/2" - 1-3/4" thickness; CASTLE'S "A-Frame" motor carriage is engineered to first route a pocket and then drill a pilot hole from the other direction.
1-1/2 HP PORTER CABLE router w/standard "4-flute" router bit for pocket routing and PORTER CABLE #7301 drill for pilot hole drilling with 9/64" brad point drill bit; foot pedal actuated cycle, will cycle as quickly as (2) Cycles/Sec.
The large 2" dia. hold-down cylinder firmly clamps material and the low 6ø boring angle minimizes shifting, reduces screw breakout and splitting.
