"HOLZ-HER 1487 with PLC Controls.

The controller has the ability to program all functions including; thickness, pre-milling, edge feed, glue application, end trimming, flush trimming, radius trimming, shaping, corner rounding.  Virtually eliminates set-up time by selecting & loading program that automatically activates all functions simultaneously.

3 mm PVC cap., 2-3/8" max. panel thickness and 7" min. panel length.

PREMILLING station w/Servo-Motor positioning, both JUMP controlled w/45 mm (1-3/4") milling height, 2-motors @ 2 KW (2.6 HP) - 9,000 RPM. (1961)

Granular glue hopper system with applicator nozzle & "quick melt" feature

 Automatic magazine for coil, strip & solid edgebanding with motorized axis, model "1901.3" (miniscule 3° approach angle for lumber banding) w/TRACTOR-BELT feed system.

Pressure section with (3) large dia. rollers, each w/motorized plunge & pressure control, powered 1st roller with electronic speed control synchronized with chain feed speed.
