DIMTER OPTICUT 304 CUT-OFF SAW

Description:

• Feeds right to left; 8” max cross cut & 1” minimum board width. Thickness from 5/8” to 3-1/8”. Board length from 16 inches to 16 feet. Outfeed can be as short as 5”, cuts softwood or hardwood.

• Equipped with: 10HP – 4100 RPH Arbor motor, 15-3/4 diameter saw blade; 10HP Servo drive feed motor accelerates material up to 750FPM, three pneumatically operated top rollers and one driven bottom drum roller positively feeds board to saw, then stops quickly for saw to make precision cut.

• System consists of: two manual marking stations with cross angle 10” wide belt conveyor; adjustable marking table to suit different board widths

• Measuring station: Cycle type roler conveyor where board length is measured by double wheel measuring system while top mounted luminescent camera detects crayon defect marks, up to eight grades detectable.

• Transport belt: 10” wide infeed belt between measuring station & saw, 20’ length to process full length, can be adjusted.

• Saw station features: Saw stroke cylinder with acceleration and deceleration unit for very high cutting speed; material feeds from right to left, patented “waste gate” eliminates short waste and end trims at saw table.

Outfeed and sorting: 10” x 37’ long accelerating belt conveyor to sorting station with four kickers, one extra sort can be taken over the end of the transport belt; 2HP feed drive; kickers are encoder pulse controlled and sort by any combination of length, grade and width; can be programmed to kick singularly or kick in set length intervals.
