Computer needs replaced
10 HP - 4,100 RPM Arbor motor, 20" dia. saw blade; 10 HP servo drive feed motor accelerates material up to 750 FPM, (3) pneumatically operated top rollers and (1) driven bottom drum roller positively feed the board to the saw, then stop quickly for saw to make precision cut.
16' manual marking station with (2) marking tables feeding to the camera infeed belt section.
Cycle type roller conveyor where length of boards are measured by the double wheel measuring system while the top mounted luminescent camera detects the crayon marks for grade and defect zones, and a fluorescent side cameras detects edge grade marks; up to (8) grades possible each with up to 20 lengths.
10" Wide infeed belt between measuring station and saw, 20' length to process full 16' length board.
Saw stroke cylinder with acceleration & deceleration unit for very high cutting speed; the patented Waste Gate eliminates short waste & end trims at the saw blade.
10" wide accelerating belt conveyor to (1) waste ejector and sorting stations with a 2 HP feed drive; (5) kickers are encoder pulse controlled and sort by any combination of length, grade and width. End of belt can be used as an additional sort or for long stock. Kickers eject cutstock as programmed.
